Hey there, reader! I'm currently a graduate student at University of Texas at Austin.
I work on intersection of Systems and ML/Robotics as a part of my research.
I am a 2020 CS graduate from IIT Bhubaneswar (the COVID batch).
I like self hosting services, collecting movies and shows.
I can't stop listening to latin music and have a fixation on anything Spanish.

Systems Research:
Setting up a hackintosh and using every other linux distro were big things in my childhood,
and shaped into my current interest in Cloud platforms. Since then my various internships and research
in this area has solidified my interest. The
Firecracker and the
Golem projects, written in Rust, are of a particular interest to me.
(2)
RaspberryPi: Configuring a personal home media server has been
amazing.
(Plex, Sonarr and about 10-15 other customer containers) with a telegram helper bot.
I use Rclone for a VFS cache and mounting gdrive directly to the containers. Having placed it back in
India, I use
TailScale for NAT traversal.
(3)
Coding: Python is my choice for general programming and C++ for
competitive coding. I use Rust for hobby coding (challenging in its own way 😆) and Java at my job.
With my amazing teams, I won at
SIH
and Inter IIT Tech Meets. We reached ACM ICPC Regionals two times and won several local contests.

Cinephile: I don't regret watching around 600 movies and 60 shows.
They have empowered me with enough pop-culture references. I have setup scrobbling to
trakt as well.
After a lot of pursuation from my friends, I turned weeb. If I had to, would pick
Attack on Titan
as the best anime/show ever made.

EE: Everything else I do is a pretty much binge-watching Youtube.
I have an old youtube channel
myself, but I never upload. I am working on publishing some papers and deciding on if I should get a
PhD.
